Scholars

Scholar Phase

As a student enters Scholar phase (typically age 12-16) They have the desire to begin to take ownership of their own education. At first, they are practicing this phase and may not do it well. That is ok! As they grow they go deeper into this phase the choose more and more to take on the hard work of learning. "It is a time to study long hours, to work hard at learning because you love it, and to ponder, think, read, write, discuss, debate, analyze and learn." (A Thomas Jefferson Education by Oliver DeMille) They learn to deeply love learning and study and to develop their skills and abilities in expressing themselves through speaking and writing.
